Me
My name is Megan and I’m a website assistant from Reading. I enjoy reading, writing, baking and online shopping. If I won the lottery I would probably travel more but until that day comes I work full-time whilst trying to maintain my laid back student lifestyle before reality swallows me once and for all.
I received an Upper Second degree in Journalism and English in 2011 and I now live in Surrey.
Whilst at university I gained experience in print, online, radio and TV journalism and can actually say I enjoyed all of it. I have also undertaken work experience with a local newspaper and a national magazine and was editor of Buzz magazine for two years.
Unfortunately, I no longer post on this blog but you can still read my other blog The Chilli Pad which I update regularly.

Thank you, I’m the editor of Buzz in West Berkshire. I love the fact I write for a magazine and I did enjoy doing my university course but personally I wouldn’t recommend doing a masters. I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s better to get as much work experience as you can where ever you can get it. I helped with documentary filming, newspapers, magazines etc before I did this. It really helped. What type of journalism do you want to do?
